Winner of Best Computer Science Project at VCU’s 2020 Capstone Design Expo

Voted Best Computer Science Project at Virginia Commonwealth University’s 2020 Capstone Design Expo, a team of four senior students sponsored by VCU Emergency Medicine and Richmond Ambulance Authority, designed an online dispatch interface and cloud server supporting a multiple-client drone fleet to autonomously transport emergency supplies for opioid overdoses in a city. Eventually this system could also carry defibrillators and tourniquet kits to bystanders.
