Waiting for the Ingots to print, developing a steel-based weighting strategy, and finding the right paint job for these beskar ingots was a effort of love for the Star Wars Mandalorian series, and for a couple friends for May 4th, 2021.
For the occasion my friend Zakk and I managed to forge these 4 ingots, using this STL file containing a printable hollow ingot. We developed our own strategy to fill the ingot to a realistic weight using as much real steel as possible. Our ingots ended up around 1.5lbs each, totaling 6lbs (2.75kg).
